Nancy,

Congratulations on the new website! Thank you again for the clear and nuanced instruction. It is so satisfying to have a simple, effective tool for providing patients with immediate and lasting pain relief.

Whenever I spend time in a Bowenwork class or around Bowenworkers, i find myself changed, my technique improves, my clients feel the difference and get better results. I just stopped in to your site, checked out the articles and was changed yet again. I know when I work on my clients tomorrow they will feel the changes too.

Last week a client said that the difference in Bowenwork and another type of bowen she had experienced was the feeling that the Bowenwork moves were made with a sense of purpose. To me it is the mindfulness that you have been stressing to us. The more mindfulness we have, the slower and lighter the touch. the more the tissues open to receive and the better the result. Sometimes the result is even profound.

Most recently after some Bowenwork class time, I have found that done with mindfulness and slowness, the Pelvis procedure opens the whole body fascially head to toe and energetically affects the chakras. The Pelvis procedure becomes one of those profound experiences. Of course, as you mentioned, the client is also a part of the process and must be willing to allow it to happen. Thankfully in the last couple of weeks they have been allowing and the results were lovely.

I also liked the reminder that its not that the client doesn't have slack, it is me who has to slow and soften and allow the slack to happen. As always, open head, open heart, open hands....

Nancy,
Hiya. I was just at the Master 2 class and Deb Dubois mentioned that you will be teaching a class here in Honolulu. YEAH!!!!!! I don't think my other classmates knows about you coming so I will pass it along to them. We (Anne Fritz and Carol Kikuchi) were taught by Karin and tested by Sandra. Another earlier certified Bowen pract is Diane Hanzel. We are always hoping for a class to start here. Yeah!!!

I haven't check yet where the class is being taught and such, but would like if you can send me any additional info not shown yet on this website. I will pass along to my friends.

I agree with all of the above comments relating to modules 5 & 6 in Arkansas and can only add that I’ve taken all 6 modules from Nancy and she continues to stimulate my desire to improve my technique and knowledge of Bowen. For this, I am greatful.
